SDCC 2017: Marvel’s Inhumans Cast Interviews

In September, Marvel TV is doing something a little different. The first two episodes of the new show, Inhumans, will be shown in IMAX theaters. The episodes were filmed with IMAX cameras and scenes were edited specifically for the format. With the announcement of the show, a big question is how will it relate to Agents of SHIELD since Inhumans have played such a big role in recent seasons? The new trailer and panel at San Diego Comic-Con shed a little light on this question.

If you haven’t already, check out the latest trailer.

As in the comics, these Inhumans live on the moon. When word reaches them about the dangers Inhumans are facing on Earth, a debate arises whether or not it’s their duty to help out, even if it means revealing themselves.

I had the chance to talk to the cast and creator of the show at San Diego.

Serinda Swan (Medusa) & Anson Mount (Black Bolt)

Isabelle Cornish (Crystal) & Iwan Rheon (Maximus)

Eme Ikwuakor (Gorgon) & Ken Leung (Triton)

Sonya Balmores (Auran) & Mike Moh (Triton)

Scott Buck (show creator) & Ellen Woglom (Louise)

It’s always great getting a chance to talk to the cast of a show. While they are there to promote everything, you can still get a sense of how passionate they are about it. Seeing the cast interact with each other sheds light into what you can expect from their performances. With the new trailer and hearing what they had to say, my interest in the show has risen. The idea of seeing it in IMAX is intriguing as well.
